DOGS AND POPCORN DO NOT MIX

The kids had friends over after school today and I thought that it would be fun to make popcorn for a yummy and semi-healthy snack.  I served them a big bowl to share outside (to save myself the clean up on the floor inside) in the driveway where they were playing basketball.  Well, the ball hit the bowl and it made a POPCORN EXPLOSION all over the driveway.  There was about 5 minutes of HYSTERICAL laughing from the kids!  That brought my heart such delight!!!

Max (our 100lbs dog) came over to investigate and proceeded to eat it (I thought that it was an easy and quick clean up before Jeremy would return from work and drive over it).  Well....he threw up for the rest of the afternoon
SORRY BOY!

LAUGHING WITH OUR GRAMMY!!

Here are some sub-par pics off of my iphone of dinner with Grammy at Papaduex last Friday night
Grammy and Madison got SO CRACKED UP over something at dinner!  It brought joy to my heart!  I love when I just cannot stop laughing!! We love having our Grammy here visiting! Again, the picture quality is not so good, but the food was!!  Thank you, Lord for such joy!!
Nicholas had spaghetti sauce ALL over his face.  I had to take a pic of him.  I didn't want him to know that I was taking it.  He LOVES spaghetti!!
He saw that I was taking his picture and is now trying to hide from me!! His first question is always  "Are you going to put it on the Blog?? Don't put it on, Mommy!!!"  I always have to convince him that people love to see him and he should not be embarrassed!  He always eventually agrees and I have free reign to blog it!   I love that little one!!

Catholics Come Home - Lighthouse MediaTim Staples was raised Baptist and served as an Assembly of God Youth Minister. He used his extensive biblical knowledge to attack the Catholic Church but when he was challenged on his beliefs, a two-year search for truth led him right to Catholicism. Now he uses that same incredible gift to defend the Faith and help others to embrace the beauty and richness of Catholicism.

LAURA INGALLS WILDER

Our sweet Savannah dressed as Laura Ingalls Wilder for her 2nd grade "Wax Museum Biography Project".
All of the kids stood still and the parents got to come around and push a button and the students would "come alive" and tell you about their lives in the words of their person from history
There she is dressed as little Ms. Wilder
She got a little nervous when it came time to start
My little shy one...you look so cute and you did such a great job that day!!  Performing in front of people she does not know is just not her thing.  love you, Savannah!
