TICKELY TOES! (Lazy Weekend)

I love lazy weekend mornings in our jammies!  I heard all kinds of laughs and came into find 2 little jammie bears tickling each other's feet!  Why do we love to be tickled as children but HATE being tickled as adults?
So Funny!!
Now it's my turn for  a tickle!!

NATIONAL RIGHT TO LIFE

James Lankford spent the last 16 years running Falls Creek Baptist Church Camp in the Arbuckle Mountains of southern Oklahoma (The largest church camp in the nation.) He resigned when he felt called to run for a vacated House seat. With zero political experience, he won in a landslide. Now in D.C., listen to what is probably his first speech on the House floor. Pastors, you might want to play this for your entire congregation.  Please click below

MOMMY'S BOYS

My boys went on a Dad/Son trip last Friday to check out Daddy's new hunting lease.  Nicholas got to miss school...what a treat!!  He just adores his daddy and frankly, so do I!!
Here they are, all bundled up for the wintry weather.  I Love you two with all of my heart!

MY PRECIOUS HUNTERS

Look at my big, strong, sweet boys.....doing boy things!  I just love them.  They love the outdoors, the trees, the animals, campfires.....all that is boy.
My Goodness.....I love them so much!!!

TOOTHLESS SMILES IN THE MORNING!

I love the toothless little smiles that greet me every morning!  I know that they need their grown up teeth but it will be a little sad the day that these little toothless grins are filled again.

PULLING TEETH AT DADDY'S OFFICE!

Nicholas had a tooth that would not fall out on it's own.  His permanent tooth was growing in behind his baby tooth and so our daddy, the Tooth Doctor, took Nicholas to his office to pull it out! Very exciting but kinda scary for Nick!
Daddy gives Nicholas some numbing stuff that shoots out onto his gums...no needle, it just looks that way.  No pics during the actual pulling....I was holding Nick's hand
Yeah!  It is out.  "Hold the cotton in it's place for a couple of minutes!"
Daddy gave Nick a treasure box to hold his tooth in for the Tooth Fairy.  It was the smallest and cutest tooth ever!!!!
Savannah took this great picture of me and Nick with one less tooth (she is quite the photog)!  He's my brave little boy.

EUCHARISTIC MIRACLES

Watch this beautiful 3 part video originally put out by FOX News Channel.  It is amazing and just reminds me of what a beautiful faith we have been blessed wtih.  God Bless.

WE MISSED YOU, SUN!

We had a really rainy weekend at the lake house with our cousins which turned into an entire Jammie weekend inside the house.....very fun with lots of time to visit and play games!  We came home today to some sun and jumped on the chance to play outside!
We had the day off of school and it was FINALLY sunny out!  The kids have been stuck in the house for days of cold and cloudy weather!  We invited friends over and the kids set up a McDonalds restaurant in the driveway.  I love that creative play!  All had fun and even ate lunch outside!
The restaurant kitchen where the big girls worked!
The little girls eating at the makeshift restaurant in the garage.  Lunch is much more fun when eaten outside!
There is Nicholas on the McDonald's "transportation bus" going through the drive thru...those little imaginations never stop!  Max loved the company outside today!  He has also been stuck inside and ready for some sun and friends too!

TUESDAY EVENING "DINNER AND A CRAFT"

I love those impromptu family activities.  The kids did a painting craft this evening after gymnastics class, while we ate crescent hot dogs for dinner (daddy was not home).  Madison so sweetly shared her "Diva Puppies" craft kit that she got for her birthday last year.  Madison and Savannah loved the little time away from their homework.
Savannah's "Diva Dog" named Spot.  She decided to paint him like a Dalmatian!
Madison and her puppy named Marshmallow, also a Dalmatian.
A brake from the seriousness of the project!
Give Spot a kiss, but don't get paint on your lips!
 Savannah and Spot!
 Madison and Marshmallow...so cute!
Nicholas working on a craft for school...."E" Elephant!
What a great evening with the kids!

OLD FREINDS!

Hanging out with family and friends in St. George UT over Christmas.  Jennifer, Jeremy's super cute sister in the green jacket and her hubby Michael, me and my Jerms in the middle, and Jeremy's best friend growing up, Yale and his beautiful wife Amy on the end. Every time we come to UT, we meet up with Yale and Amy for good food and laughs during our habitual dinner at "Pasta Factory".  Miss you guys, already!

EPIPHANY PLAY

Madison's 5th grade class did an Epiphany program celebrating the day that the Wise men arrived to see the Baby Jesus.  I just love our sweet Catholic school, where the focus is on the "real" importance of life and we can freely talk of our faith in God.  He is a part of their everyday life at school.
Our sweet little Madison singing on stage like an angel!!
Madison's part was a "gift giver".  She wanted to play our mother Mary so bad!! This is what Jesus chose for her though and she never complained about it once!!!
Of course, the 3 kings!  Look at the little boy dressed like a sheep in the background...he made me laugh so hard...he was so cute!!
Madison with some of her girlfriends after the play
We get a picture with the star after the program! We are so proud of you, Honey!!

"FANTASTIC BROWN HOT CHOCOLATE"

Savannah made "Fantastic Brown Hot Chocolate Mix" in class and gave it to Jer and I for Christmas along with a very important recipe card that she had written.  Last night, Savannah and Mommy sat down for a delicious cup together.
We measured and added the water and mix as directed.
She worked really hard on this thoughtful and tasty Christmas gift!
There were marshmallows in it too!! Yummy!
Thank you for this great gift, Sweet Girl!

INCH THICK T-BONES MARINATED OVERNIGHT IN OUR SECRET "NEVER FAIL" STEAK MARINADE!
The kids decided to put on a magic show for the adults...how precious!!  This was the sign on the movie room door.  I'll translate..."Do Not Come In...Only Magicians and Employees!"  love the spelling!
They DID NOT put on a magic show, that idea got old and so we decided to just dance to loud music instead!!
Running around uncontrolled was much more fun!
They just love to dance...we ALL love to dance!
Madison's Super Cool moves! We just all laughed and danced!
