*You were my very first love
*One of my biggest fans (with mom)
*You have protected me and my soul from danger
*You taught me how to love and serve our Lord no matter WHAT He may ask of me....and you are living out that teaching now
*You counseled me through tough times, heart brake, and mean friends (remember you told me to call that girl "Dog Breath" if she laughed at me again)
*You listened to me
*You prayed for me without ceasing
*You dedicated your life to God and to your family
*You were my first "image" of who Jesus really was

I miss you so much......even though you are still right here
I miss talking to you and seeking your advice and telling you EVERYTHING on my heart! I miss our talks and hearing your jokes over and over and over again, AND I really miss your laugh!!!!
I miss hearing you talk about Jesus! Daddy, you are so in love with Him and it shows in everything that you ever did in your life.

Now, especially since you have been silenced and sick and suffering, I see our Lord in you more than ever Dad.
I miss you so much that when I think about you, I just weep. I know that you are living out the ministry that He chose for you, as I gaze upon you in that bed and I know that you are so joyful to carry such an important cross for Jesus.
I know that you must hurt everytime that you see me cry (and you cannot even say anything), but please know that my heart is just as happy as it is broken.....because I know that you have given yourself over to His Perfect Will.
He is so pleased with you.
Daddy, even though you may have forgotten who I am, please know that I will NEVER forget who you are, and I cannot wait until we get to have the same old relationship that we used to....I just have to wait for now... until we see each other in Heaven.
