GOOD MORNING BRIGHT EYES

Right after finishing her morning bath, Gracie Ann decided to poop and throw up, before she even had her new diaper on!

So needless to say, she was BACK in the bath again!

Her eyes are SO VERY BRIGHT today

SUNDAY BLESSINGS

Sweet little Gracie Ann had a most important visitor yesterday

Msgr Hart so graciously came up to the hospital for a visit and bestowed on our angel a very powerful Sacrament...

The Anointing of the Sick

Msgr Hart anointed Gracie Ann's forehead and the palms of her sweet little hands with the Holy Oil, as he said....

”Through this Holy Anointing may the Lord in His love and mercy help you with the grace of the Holy Spirit. May the Lord Who frees you from sin, save you and raise you up.”

Jesus has definitely been with our little girl, holding her and healing her this entire time....and always will be.....

But He gave us these wonderful Sacraments and He wants us to desire them, as they are such a powerful gift that He entrusted to His disciples right before His Glorious Ascension!

Acts 1:8-9

“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, all of Judea, and Samaria and to the ends of the earth. After he had said this, He was taken up before their very eyes and a cloud hid Him from their sight.”

What a beautiful opportunity for Jeremy and I to practice our faith and trust in Him, even as our hearts are breaking with sorrow.

We are so worried and sad, but through our tears, we praise You and honor You and Glorify You, trusting in You fully. We will never turn away!

He has shown us so many examples of the power that these Sacraments hold, in Holy Scripture

James 5:14

"Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord"

Mark 6:13

"And they were casting out many demons and where anointing with oil many sick people and healing them"

We desire every and all Gifts and Graces that Jesus so mercifully and abundantly blessed all of His children with

GRACIE ANN'S UPDATE

(Look at those bright baby-blues)

Not much changed yesterday. We just cannot keep her sats up as we decline her amount of oxygen. She is still throwing up.....not every meal, but I think that all of that yucky stuff in her throat is making her little tummy sick.

We are praying for a discharge soon. Maybe as soon as tomorrow. We spoke with her doctor this morning and we all feel that Jeremy and I can give her the care that she is currently getting at Cook Childrens, in our home.

We are "old hat" with all of the equipment, medications, and therapies because of both Gracie Ann and myself having many lifelong medical issues.

Now we just have to wait and see how her day goes and what our Lord's Will for Gracie Ann is.

I hope that Sweet Jesus sees fit to send our little baby home
