SUPERBOWL SUNDAY

As you know, Madison broke her wrist, snowboarding on Superbowl Sunday.  Here are a few pics of our Impromptu Superbowl watching party in the Breckenridge Condo
Of course you have to have a load of game day snacks to fill your belly during the commercials
Madison spent most of the game on the couch, icing her wrist.....she was so achy.....My poor little one
Oompa so patiently taught Savannah how to play Cribbage......a special game that lots of our family plays together
I laid on the floor of the condo by the fire warming my feet......I love my footie pajamas!
Daddy spent most of the game (except for snack and potty breaks) relaxing next to Madison watching the game intently.......he waits ALL YEAR for this game
Who is that behind the chair in the corner........whoever it is has made himself a secret fort out of blankets
Maybe if I slice up some apples and set them out, we can see who it is
Caught you peeking, Nicholas!!  What are you doing back there?  Why are you hiding?
He finally came out to play with us.  Little boys hearts are so precious and cute.  He was hiding......actually kinda sad but he said that he wasn't sure why.  Some apples and loving from Mommy made him feel better.  I love being a Mommy!!! Mommies can fix things sometimes, that others cannot.  Thank you, Jesus for such a special vocation in my life.

I know that in time, sliced sweet apples and some loving words will not fix his fragile little heart, but I will cherish each and every moment until then

OF COURSE THERE WAS GOING TO BE A BIRTHDAY IN A FEW DAYS
An early celebration with Grammy and Oompa
I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT SHE IS 13 YEAR OLD NOW!
Everyone around the birthday girl for a picture to remember
Grammy made her that soft and beautiful blanket for her birthday.....Madison LOVES it and sleeps with it each night

THANK YOU GRAMMY AND OOMPA FOR SUCH A SPECIAL GIFT......WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH
