I have been again, brought to my knees in Praise and bewilderment of You!
Thank you for my Catholic faith. It is just so incredible! The beauty of Your Holy Church and the true and infallible knowledge, amazes me time and time again. It is Truth, passed down from You, Jesus, to Your faithful apostles. I will spend the rest of my life learning more and more about You through the beautiful shepherds that You have ordained (our Holy Priests and Religious) to lead Your little lambs home to You.

We were so blessed to be able to have Msgr Hart over this evening for dinner. I could spend forever listening to him teach me all about You. I always have a few theological questions that I save to ask him whenever I get the chance.....I never want to bombard him, but I could literally sit at his feet for hours, listening as he professes his true love for You, through his sharing his faithful knowledge of You and Your Teachings. Please always keep him close to us! He is such a devout shepherd indeed.
THIS IS WHAT I LEARNED ABOUT YOUR MOST HOLY AND PERFECT CHURCH TONIGHT
Latin is the official language of the church. In fact, still to this day, all official Catholic church documents must be written in Latin. I have always wondered why this eloquent language has died out, when so much of our English language stems from Latin roots. It is truly an impassioned language, and because it is the official language of my amazing faith, makes it most significant in my life. I asked Msgr Hart why Latin is no longer used and why is it the official church language? Msgr. always greatly enlightens me.....he began by explaining that a living language is ever changing. English words that at one time meant one thing.....have evolved into meaning something totally different!
Msgr Hart then went on to articulate the importance of keeping Church documents safe and timeless.
Latin being, as the world would say, "a dead language" is VERY prophetic because as we know, Lord, You are absolutely Perfect in every way!
If Church documents were to be written in a "living" language, then there would be the fear of misunderstanding their intended meaning over time. Latin will NEVER evolve. It will remain the same from now on. You planned it that way to protect Your "Rock" (Your holy Church). You built this Church and You promised that the gates of hell would never prevail and You, Who are Above All, left nothing to chance.
This is so incredible, right!! Doesn't our Catholic faith get more and more beautiful with every inquisition we make about it?
Thank You for leaving us this perfect gift of faith that leads us back home to You, Who is our Ideal and Absolute Creator, Father, and God of All!
