SUNDAY SHENANIGANS
(24 Degrees and windy today in Roanoke TX)
I took my daily "Mommy walk" today with Daddy and it was FREEZING outside
Jeremy made sure that his little wife (me) was plenty warm, as he stuffed my gloves with the hand warmers that he uses for hunting.....I felt quite spoiled for sure
(We could not stop giggling during this picture as Nicholas was REALLY freaked out that daddy and mommy were taking a "kissy picture")
I don't know how much "physical/pulmonary therapy" we are actually going get done, with all of the kissing....Jeremy is SO super cute....especially wearing his "fake braided" Dallas Cowboys stocking cap.
BTW:
We ended up walking for almost 2 hours and covered multiple miles, as our runny noses greatly limited the smooching
(It was SO cold AND windy)
We talked the entire time, as we walked the neighborhood paths
(I never ran out of breath....awesomeness!)
What a wonderful opportunity we were blessed with, to share our hearts today, as our busy life with school, work, and five kids, limits our time to really visit and just connect as husband and wife
ISAAC'S BOO BOO
(From tears to giggles in two small steps)
Did you know that if you hit your head on a door handle and it is NOT even bleeding.....a kiss from mommy and a Mickey Mouse bandage immediately cures the injury
SUNDAY DRIVING
ISAAC DRIVING MOMMY AROUND THE HOUSE
Here we come......and look who is driving us
"Mommy me drive.....You put boots up....Me drive"
"Watch out Daddy!!"
"Phewf....You moved just in time...but here comes the oven!!"
Quick turn,,,,
"Oh oh, Isaac, do you see the kitchen island and Max (the dog) coming up REALLY quick....and Max is WAY too lazy to move out of the way!"
"Daddy Daddy....we had a wreck!!!" "Come and help us!"
Did you know that you can totally close your eyes and play dead WHILE still picking your nose
EVERYTHING TURNED OUT OKAY
Luckily everyone involved in this "plasma car" wreck was insured and there were no casualties....I am so thankful that Isaac has a few more years to practice driving around the house before hitting the busy Texas roadways
ONE MORE SURPRISE BLESSING FROM MY FATHER IN HEAVEN
I have always "worn" all of my kiddos....Well, all but my sweet Gracie Ann. As she grew in age and size, I was still unable to carry her in my BabyBjorn...
This saddened me, but I have been prayerfully and patiently (a least I tried to be) hoping to be blessed with the opportunity to nestle this little one right up against my chest and near to my heart, now for 296 days
(as that is how many days, Gracie Ann has blessed our lives)
I wasn't sure what our Lord had in store.....until today!
This is called my Mommy's "Absolutely amazing, Multi-tasking, baby-head kissing, Front-fitting Super Hero cape"
It allows me to change a diaper, put new batteries in our miniature singing Christmas Tree, and pour juice into an Elmo sippy cup in a SINGLE BOUND......ALL while calming and snuggling my littlest Gracie Bird!!
(look who has already stolen my cape)
I have to praise You, Jesus for such a wonderful Sunday! You always throw a little extra unexpected fun treat into each day, just because You can AND because You love to delight all of Your children. Thank You
love,
kerry ann
Have a blessed Sunday afternoon
