ISAAC'S 5TH BIRTHDAY FARM PARTY

The first thing that Isaac did that morning was to run to my bathroom to look in my full length mirror and called out in an unhappy voice....

"I DID NOT TURN 5yrs OLD! I STILL LOOK THE SAME AS I DID YESTERDAY!!

How do I even begin to explain this

MORNING

First we attend Holy Mass

For thanksgiving for our sweet Isaac

(Our priest gave Isaac a birthday blessing)

THEN HOME TO PREPARE FOR ALL OF THE KIDS

First birthday card in the mail from Aunt Karen

He wanted to make "funny hats" for all of the kids at his party to wear....I had already bought some....So Jesus blessed Isaac with acceptance

After Mass, we took Isaac for a Surprise Breakfast at Chick-fil-a

Savannah surprised him with balloons

He was super excited about his birthday and I think that when he got his balloons at Chick Fil A, he started to believe that he WAS IN FACT 5 yrs old

He was showing his balloons to all of the prople at breakfast

Then when a very kind adult would say something back to Isaac or ask Isaac how old he was....
Isaac would all of a sudden, hide behind my back and become shy

BACK AT HOME

Isaac received his very first birthday present of the day when we returned from breakfast

Isaac has really wanted a cardboard house to play in
(he was actually trying to build one out of Amazon boxes)
Jeremy and I figured that he would tire of this project
BUT....
After months, when he was still making furniture for this "future cardboard house"....we decided that we had to take over and buy a cardboard house that was more than piles just of recycleable items strewn around in the middle of our front hall

So God
....in cooperation with Amazon actually DOES SELL a cardboard house, and we bought it for Isaac

He was very excited. Nicholas installed a doorbell on the outside (it was really a bicycle bell)
God is Good

THE FARM ANIMALS ARRIVE

SETTING UP THE ANIMALS

Oh my goodness, the animals were so amazing
To watch these gentle animals just walking around our backyard eating grass was so very peaceful.
The kids and i just watched, as we stood there in a silent awe of God's Wonder.
It was truly a wonderland
God's beautiful creation is so very amazing and pleasing to His children

Our Lord had so much fun as He so lovingly created all of His creatures.

I always think about this whenever I am given the opportunity to gaze upon His abundant wildlife

The way He carefully formed them and painted His creatures in some of the most vibrant colors

Nature is beyond my understanding

I think that I definitely wanted to keep these sweet and fluffy little creatures forever

We had lots of food to eat
...but it had to be Meatless (for Lent), Gluten free (for some), and KETO friendly (for others)
So we went with cheese/veggie pizza, big salads and yummy cupcakes

All of the animals were all very gental and snuggable. The kids (as well as us adults) were so blessed to experience, snuggle and pet any of the animals that we wanted

All of the daddies were ESPECIALLY excited about this amazing and colorful turkey
He looked like a painted picture

Ugh....I did not get a lot of pictures once the party guests arrived....I was running around making sure everything was running smoothly

BIRTHDAY CAKE TIME

We all sang Happy Birthday to our sweet Isaac

The cupcakes were all eaten up in a flash

We had a fabulous time filled with fun, catching up with friends and just the total joy of God's Grace

The weather was unexpectedly perfect and eveyone

seemed to have the good time
Jesus knows exactly what our little Isaac desires inside oh his heart and just because Our Lord Jesus Christ is Such an Amazing Father to all of His beloved Children....He, while still Divine, literally became Flesh and Blood...and He too, was 5 years old
